Members of the Wheeler class of 2024 are heading off to an exciting variety of post-school destinations following success in their studies.

Freddie will be going to Oxford University this month to study law and French law, while fellow Welsh student Naimh is off to Cardiff to do medicine. Other Wheelers are heading to Birmingham, Portsmouth, Stafford, Bristol, Warwick and Reading universities to do a variety of subjects such as geology, economics, film production, biomedical sciences, English literature, maths and law.

Three students have secured degree apprenticeships; in accounting, engineering and electromechanical engineering. One is off to the army next month to start basic training, one is going to Canada to be a ski instructor and another will become cabin crew for BA.

The class graduated in June enjoyed after five years on the programme, during which they took part in residential stays, study days and sports.

They are the fourth group to graduate from the Wheeler Programme. Three other cohorts are currently enjoying the programme and recruitment will start for a new cohort this month.
