Advice on how to get into law school will be on the agenda at an event being held at Wellington College this week.

The law applicants preparation day on Wednesday, March 25, is for students in Year 12 who are considering a career in the legal profession.

Guest speaker Lucas Hooper will talk to the students about what to put in their personal statements, where to study and how to get through the Law National Aptitude test, a test that assesses students’ ability to reason and analyse information.

A panel of legal professionals will answer questions on their careers and students will also be able to quiz a panel of current law students.

Around 70 students are expected to attend from state schools in the 27-school Wellington College Student Alliance including Blessed Hugh Faringdon, Edgbarrow and The Piggott.

The event is the third law day held by the Wellington College Student Alliance following a successful inaugural event in 2024.
