Wellington College Teaching Alliance believes that in order to ensure the best education is available for young people, the same opportunities need to exist for teachers and support staff. As a result of establishing meaningful relationships with our Alliance schools, we deliver these opportunities through two programmes, Inter-School Support and Continuing Professional Development.
Inter-School Support
Our Inter-School Support Programme provides a framework of support, within which effective collaboration is facilitated alongside our Alliance Schools. Whether it be with a curriculum, pedagogy and/or assessment focus, we want to meet every school where they are.
Who would benefit from this programme?
Schools and Colleges that believe in working collaboratively for mutual benefit and want to provide equal opportunities for all pupils.
Continuing Professional Development
We believe that purposeful research leads to effective course development and deployment. The Teaching Alliance offers a variety of courses that enable continuing professional and leadership development for teaching staff and support staff within schools.
We are always looking for new, innovative ways to improve and expand our CPD programme. If your school is in search of a particular learning opportunity then we would love to hear from you.
Who would benefit from this programme?
Anyone who works within education that is passionate about personal and professional development. We welcome both teaching and support staff on to out courses with the aim of providing something for everyone. Our courses aim to inspire participants to think more clearly about their career aspirations and what the best next steps looks like to the individual.

"It was good having the Public Speaking course split into two sessions as it gave us time to think about the feedback we were given at the first session before delivering our second speech. I could take on board what Katie said and use it at the next session. I really liked the personal feedback and I’m thinking about how I can incorporate some of the ideas into my speaking in the future.”
