A new shelter will keep students coming on an Outdoor Education Day at Wellington College warm and dry.
The new structure was put in place at the low ropes course last week and replaces an old parachute canopy.
New seating inside will also allow students to eat their lunch somewhere comfortable.
Outdoor Education expert Simon Waller said: “We are really happy to have this outdoor structure in place and we look forward to students coming on the outdoor days we have got planned this year.
“We are doing more activities in the winter than ever and as part of a college commitment to improving facilities for outdoor learning, we want to give students a better experience, so it is great even on the coldest, wettest day.”
Outdoor Education days are open to all schools in the Wellington College Student Alliance.
